We will be doing the big thanks to those that have made it what it is in Saturday’s post

but for now thanks to The Royals for shoe horning into the Bay for their set tonight.

The Main Stage at Bushys proved as ever to be a perfect pre-Bank Holiday knees up.

Not just special guest Mae Challis but also the entire ROWE family on one stage!

Tonight on the Carole Nash Stage we have

Early Slot 7.30-9.30pm

Brad Meechan’s side project head to the Main Stage

for a night of Indie anthems and some really good

self penned songs. This 4-piece bring a fresh exuberance

to their shows and really do the setlist justice.

Late Slot 10-11.55pm

The FINAL set of BUSHYS TT2017 is bestowed upon York’s finest!

FIREBALL are a 4-piece covering mostly 60/70’s rock music, but many genres… and have a looooong history… so beware!
In the beginning there was a duo called Fireball. The duo played around the UK at venues ranging from WM Clubs to Rock nights. From then on the band took off and has since gigged around the UK as well as foreign shores and are hoping to carry on for many moons yet. When in the States they performed four hour sets, hence the extensive set list. In October 2009, Fireball was reborn. Still bashing out Rock from Ozzy to AC/DC, from Bad Company to Free, Led Zepp and many others. Now a three piece, Ken joined the band on guitar at the end of 2011 bringing a different feel, but still with the punchy sound that is characteristically Fireball. Conor took over the drumming spot in March 2012 bringing a renewed energy and drive to the feel that, with Ken, became the heart of the new Fireball sound.
Since then the Fireball team has been involved in several projects, including two bands with the legendary Mark McCafferty; Rockola and Glamrockz. Worth a punt and never fail to deliver!

Enjoy this final set of our TT 2017.

Hope to be back doing what we do in 2018!

Down at the Colas Beach Stage we are hoping to finally get some fresh air and head outdoors!

from acerbic social commentary to easy flowing cheerfulness are delivered

with gusto in singing and rapping.

It is then splattered with a smorgasbord of guest vocalists and a wall of sax. Will be a great start to the evening.

9.30-10.30pm we have Helen Morrison’s amazing THE BALTIC STATES

The Baltic States are a three piece indie/electronic band based in the UK.                         They blend techno/folk and haunting electronica with hypnotic, soaring vocal melodies.
In autumn 2014, the band released their debut E.P. ‘Boxes’ which was extremely well-received by both radio and social media platforms. Singles ‘Kontrol’ and ‘Boxes’ were named as track of the week by a number of radio stations and by ‘Best of British Unsigned’, and received wide airplay across the UK which included being featured on BBC Radio 6, BBC London, BBC Merseyside and Amazing Radio. All four tracks from the E.P. were included in the top ten of ‘Fresh on The Net’  by BBC 6 Music DJ Tom Robinson. In 2017 they released their second E.P. “Brother” in Memory of Jack Morrisson. Single Kontrol was used as a soundtrack in two US series “Girlfriends Guide to Divorce” and “UnReal TV”.
The band is currently performing live across the UK and has already played venues such as the 02 Academy, London’s 100 Club, Berlin’s Monarch , Baltic Garden Festival, and more.

They played a hypnotic set at Bushys earlier this week to rave reviews so do NOT miss this being one of the highlights of the concerts down South.

Thanks once again to Marcel and his team at the Bay for fitting the bands in throughout the week, far from ideal but the weather has been very much against us all.
