Tribal folk rock’n’soul from Lee Brooks (vocals, guitars), Aaron Forster (bass), Matt Kelly (mandolin) Carl Joughin (jungle djembe) and Sam Jenkins (vocals/congas/percussion).
Formed in 2011 by three ragamuffin music makers, Hoodoo
Nation combine rhythm, melody, energy and soul into a rootsy
and original sound. In that first year the band appeared on radio and at festivals at home in the Isle of Man, recorded a five-track EP and set off on a short tour of the UK.
In 2012 the band added new members and new musical elements and wrote and recorded eight fresh new tracks, in between lively shows on the Manx gig and festival circuit.
They went down a storm at Mannifest 2012
