IMG_3120We were well and truly spoilt last night for Port Erin day and thanks and congratulations to Port Erin Commissioners and their staff for a smooth professional running of events. Some of the bike stunts were incredulous! We continued the theme with 2 stellar performances on the ABSOLUTE BEACH STAGE with young pretenders TENDER RAGE who really did wow the crowds. Big up to Callum and Frazer Rowe who had the dulcet tones of young Becky Frankland-Crowe for several numbers. Incredible young talent with an average age of 12 1/2! Andy Frankland-Davies kept proceedings well regimented with his drum kit.

Special mention also to THE SUPERMODELS who played a blinding set of classics from the likes of ELO,The Who and Queen. Not to be missed as they played exclusivey for Bushys this year and are on tonight at 10pm.

Do not be put off by the lack of people in this photo, the wall was at least 10 deep all the way along last night.

At 9pm a band that have been really making a mark this TT.

HEAVYBALL are a tight ska band from London. Formed in late 2011 when Nottingham brothers Matt and Habs Salisbury and school friend Johnny Iball, began to play together.

Heavyball’s first EP, ‘Small Town Hero’, recorded by producer Dave Creffield (Embrace, James), was released in June 2012 receiving BBC airplay across the country.

Heavyball have just come back from supporting the Kaiser Chiefs on their UK tour, and have received airplay on national radio. They have a reputation for a blistering set of original ska with some classic Indie anthems to boot. These guys really step up to the mark for live gigs.
